About Us

Isabel del Cid Castillo

Isabel del Cid Castillo immigrated to the United States as a child in 1982 from Guatemala. She arrived as an immigrant with her family and recognized from an early age the sacrifices her family made to get her to the U. S. She knows the legal permanent resident and naturalization processes first hand and how much it means to individuals when they ask for immigration privileges. She understands why individuals and families want to be here and their love for this country. She also understands the importance of protecting one’s rights and obtaining fair and just results grounded on the law, and the fundamental rights of access to the courts.

ISABEL DEL CID CASTILLO

Ms. Castillo is one of only 79 attorneys in the state of Florida Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality law. In a state with over 100,000 attorneys, this puts her in the less than 0.1% of attorneys to hold this certification. Board certification recognizes an attorney’s knowledge, skills and proficiency in their area of law as well as their professionalism and ethics in practice.

As an expert in her field, Ms. Castillo focuses exclusively in immigration and nationality law. Ms. Castillo’s area of specialty is helping foreign investors get the appropriate type of visa to allow them to live and work in the United States with their families. She also helps corporate clients seeking outstanding foreign employees as well as individuals seeking immigrant visas for themselves and for qualifying family members. She also assists individuals with their citizenship and naturalization applications.

Ms. Castillo also holds an AV Preeminent® rating by Martindale-Hubbell which is a significant accomplishment – a testament to the fact that Ms. Castillo’s peers rank her at the highest level of professional excellence.

Ms. Castillo was selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers, a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. While up to five percent of the lawyers in the state are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list.

Ms. Castillo has lectured before numerous professional associations across Florida and South America in the areas of investing in the U. S. and how the investor may then qualify for a visa, changes in immigration laws, business options in the U. S. for international businesses and family immigration law.

Ms. Castillo is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association. She has served as an officer on the Board for the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association and the South Palm Beach County Florida Association for Women Lawyers.
